Prayer Requests: FAQ

Answers to common questions about prayer requests, including privacy, cost, how the prayer wall works, and what to expect when you ask for prayer online.

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

— Matthew 18:20

This prayer requests FAQ gathers the questions people most often ask before they post on our prayer wall. If you are wondering how it works, whether it is private, or what to expect after you share, you are in the right place. Our goal is to remove every barrier between you and the prayer you need.

Asking for prayer takes courage, and we want it to feel safe. Scripture encourages us to "come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). The answers below are meant to help you do exactly that.

Getting Started

Most newcomers want to know how quickly they can post, whether it costs anything, and how their privacy is protected. The short version: it is free, it is fast, and you are always in control of what you share. We built the prayer wall so that anyone, believer or seeker, can ask for prayer without hesitation.

What to Expect

Once you post, real people pray. You will see encouragement, receive notifications, and can return to share updates or testimonies. Prayer is a relationship, and this community is here for the long haul, not just a single moment. "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2) is the spirit in which we serve. Read on for detailed answers, and when you are ready, post your first request and let the community pray with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it free to post a prayer request? +
Yes, completely. PraiseHim Club never charges to post prayer requests, pray for others, or join the community. There are no paid tiers.
Can I post my prayer request anonymously? +
Yes. You can post without your name or any identifying details, or share a request privately with the prayer team only.
How do I know if anyone actually prayed for me? +
When members pray for your request, you receive a notification, and many also leave a short word of encouragement on the wall.
Do I have to be a Christian to ask for prayer? +
Not at all. Seekers, new believers, and anyone in need are warmly welcome. You can come exactly as you are.
Can I pray for other people's requests? +
Yes, and we encourage it. You can mark that you have prayed and leave encouragement, which is a meaningful ministry in itself.
What kinds of prayer requests can I share? +
Anything on your heart, including health, family, work, finances, faith, grief, or simply peace. Every honest request is welcome.
Can I update my request or mark it answered? +
Absolutely. You can return anytime to add updates and, when God answers, mark it answered and share a testimony to encourage others.
How is my request kept safe from misuse? +
We moderate the wall, ask everyone to respond in love, and let you control visibility, edit, or remove your request at any time.
Will posting here replace my local church? +
No. The prayer wall is a bridge between believers, not a substitute for a church family. We also help you find a church home.
